January 2009
January - Audio

        All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in
our lives.  It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right.  It is God's way of preparing us in every way,
fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.  2 Timothy 3:16-17

      For the Word of God is full of living power.  It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost
thoughts and desires.  It exposes us for what we really are.  Nothing in all creation can hide from Him.  Everything
is naked and exposed before His eyes.  This is the God to whom we must explain all that we have done.  Hebrews 4:12-13

        Jesus replied, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.  This is
the first and greatest commandment.  A second is equally important:  Love your neighbor as yourself.  All the other
commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments."  Matthew 22:37-40

        Jesus came and told His disciples, "I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth.  Therefore, go
and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach
these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.  And be sure of this:  I am with you always, even to
the end of the age."  Matthew 28:18-20
